Meg is 2 months

My sweet baby girl. Boy time sure is flying by.  We love this girl so much. She is such a blessing to our family. She has made our family complete.  There is a certain 2 year old little boy who is just crazy about his sister now.  He thinks his number one mission in life now is to make sure she has her paci all the time.  It is especially hard when we are driving and he is either holding her paci up in the air calling my name or he is trying to manage a way to get it back in her mouth.  He isn't quite understanding the concept of "easy".  I am grateful though that he loves his sister.

Meg is doing better about not "having" to have her paci all the time.  She does have more spells during the day where she doesn't need it to be happy.  She still sleeps all the time. She is pretty much sleeping through the night.  She now wakes between 5am and 6 each morning.  She sleeps in her nap nanny next to the bed. She will just smile at you when you talk to her.  She loves for me to kiss her she will just smile and coo.

She is eating 3 oz's every 4 hours and she does spit up some.  Reid never had spit up so this is all new to me.  We are trying to burp her more during the feeding to see if that will help some.

She is still wearing newborn clothes and we just moved her to size 1 diapers.

She went to church for the first time Wednesday night and she did great.  Sunday we will take her to church but she will stay with me. She won't start nursery for awhile.

We aren't sure what she weighs yet, but I am guessing around 9 pounds.  She doesn't go to the doctor for another week.

We love you Margaret Emerson Ormon..........

Happy Valentines

He really does love his sister. I can't believe how willing he is to hold his sister. It just makes my heart want to burst to see my two babies loving on each other. Today was the first day he would hold her. Excuse the Christmas outfit Meg is wearing. Her valentine's one was dirty, but at least it is red.

Reid has really started enjoying helping me in the kitchen. I love the picture of him mixing his breakfast.

We will exchange our valentines when daddy gets home. I really don't need anything after seeing the love Reid showed his sister today. Pure bliss

Reid loves his sister

It took Reid about 6 weeks to come around to the idea that Meg is here to stay. He has really began to be a big brother and really care about her. He calls her name when he gets in the car until I get her car seat put in the car.

He wants to give her paci to her if she cries. He tells me Meg cry. When anyone comes and looks at her at school he comes over to her and gets on his knees and holds onto her seat until that person walks away.

He loves to give her kisses. I am so glad Reid thinks we can keep her. ha

Here she is crying and that is Reid's arm in the picture about to put Meg's paci in her mouth
