We went into labor on Saturday morning at 3:30am when my water broke. I was quite surprised. I wasn't expecting to go on my own or that it would be this early. I am so happy that she is here and healthy. She is the perfect Christmas gift. My heart is so full right now.
Labor moved very fast, so fast that I never even made it in a birthing room. We were still waiting for the other patients to be discharged and Meg just didn't want to wait. I had the best delivery. I had my epidural before the contractions became unbearable and I basically went from 5 centimeters dilated to 10 within an hour. My parents arrived at 10 and I started pushing at 10:17 and she was born at 10:37.
She weighed the same as Reid she was 6lbs 5oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. She is healthy and beautiful.
Justin's parents made it to the hospital that afternoon. We were sad they couldn't make it but Meg was ready.
Reid didn't really know what to think about his sister at first, but now he runs through the house saying Meg Meg...
The pics are out of order and I am just too tired to fix them.
Meg in her Christmas outfit
Reid finally looking at his baby sister. The ring I have on was given to me by my wonderful husband as a push/Christmas present. It is Meg's birthstone and I love it.
