Reid went to Disney World for the first time, we spent a week at the beach with friends and we ended 2011 with the birth of our daughter.
This year Justin was ordained as a deacon and our spiritual life really grew and we both have had a closer walk with the Lord. We leaned on the Lord like we never have this year. I am so thankful for the faith that I have. Once I was told about Meg's possible health issues I knew who ultimately was in control and it left me thinking about people who are not saved and who do they turn to. Prayer is powerful and having friends who you know will pray for you is a wonderful gift as well.
Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
1 Peter 5:7
Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. ( I have really needed this verse this last week. I had some hard days adjusting and just letting my hormones settle down. Thankfully I am much better)
Isaiah 26:4
Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.
I am so thankful for the wonderful friends we have and how thoughtful they have been. We have had meals brought to us, many phone calls and texts just checking on us and praying for us.
Thankful for my friends that came over and helped me put Christmas away and finish organizing Meg's room.
Meg's first time in her bed.
She wasn't very happy. We only left her there long enough to take a picture
Meg's first bath. She enjoyed it more than Reid did
I never took pictures of Meg's nursery and I wanted to get the pictures in on this years blog
We were gonna put a glider in this corner, but it hasn't come in yet.
Her bow holders. I can't wait to fill them up
Hope everyone has a great new year....
