Easter no rush

I always feel like I am in such a rush on Sunday morning to try and get pictures of my children. It never goes like I planned; the pictures never turn out good and to top it off I start sweating from trying or begging them to sit still for a picture.

Since Meg is still so small I am still having trouble finding things for her to wear, I decided I would try an outfit on her this morning that I was hoping would fit so that she could wear it to church on Saturday for the Easter party. It was still a little big, but we might be able to make it work. I love pink and that was one of the things I couldn't wait to do when I found out it was a girl was to be all pink.  I still love pink but for some reason my eye just continues to be drawn to blue.  She has a zillion smocked dresses to choose from for Easter but I love the blue ones.  So it looks like it will be a blue Easter for Meg.

I am reminded though that Easter is not about looking pretty or what we are wearing, but it is truly about the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. I am so glad I serve a risen God and I can not wait to praise him Sunday morning.
